Longines at great depths

Longines a grandi profondità

In this 2007 Longines looks back and churns out models with a strong emotional impact that we like, and a lot.

The history of Longines is strongly linked to the world of aviation, but over time, its commitment to sports and even diving has been greatly increased. It is from these pursuits that the Sport Legends line was born, dedicated to the great pioneers of sport and their exploits. Its latest evolution is the Legend Diver, a model particularly appealing for its retro design, as it is a re-edition of a diver's watch from the 1960s. The case is in steel with a diameter of 42 millimetres, fitted with two screw-locked crowns (at 2 and 4), one intended for winding the watch, the other for operating the internal bidirectional rotating bezel indicating the time remaining in the dive. A professional diver, thanks to its guaranteed water-resistance to a pressure of 30 atmospheres, it is equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement, L33 calibre on an ETA 2824/2 base, and comes with a synthetic material strap. The caseback is engraved with the image of a diver.
