Zenith Pilot Montre d'Aéronef Type 20

blogThe new Zenith Pilot Montre d'Aéronef Type 20 is a tribute to a Zenith model from the past, as well as to all the aviator watches of yesteryear. Its case, made of titanium, measures an impressive 57.5 mm in diameter, while the crown is of the onion type, as used in aviator models of the past. The dial, which is black and protected by a sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating, has luminescent hands and Arabic numerals, a power-reserve display at 3 o'clock and a small seconds display at 9 o'clock. The movement used is the 5011K calibre (50 mm diameter, 134 components, 19 jewels, 18,000 vib/h, 48-hour power reserve, chronometer-certified by the COSC), mechanical with manual winding and visible through the sapphire crystal back. Water-resistant to a pressure of 5 atmospheres and fitted with a brown calfskin strap with contrasting stitching, Zenith's Pilot Montre d'Aéronef Type 20 is produced in a limited and numbered edition of 250 pieces.
