With Locman on board the Amerigo Vespucci

Con Locman a bordo dell'Amerigo Vespucci

Locman chose the evocative setting of the School Ship Amerigo Vespucci to present the Marina Militare watch line to the press.

For some years now, the watch company in Marina di Campo has been the only one allowed to use the name and symbol of the Italian Navy, which it affixes to military watches made of innovative and resistant materials, from titanium to carbon fibre.

There are two flagship models in the collection: Teseo Tesei, a timepiece named after the Second World War hero born on the island of Elba (in Marina di Campo, where the Locman Group's headquarters are located), and the Mare - Marina Militare model, like the one on the wrist of Frigate Captain Giuliano Biggi, second-in-command of the Nave Amerigo Vespucci, who took guests on a tour of the world's most beautiful training ship (pictured, from left: Marco Mantovani, Locman CEO, Frigate Captain Giuliano Biggi and Fabrizio Fuochi, of Locman).

The Mare - Marina Militare watch by Locman is a sporty watch that is water-resistant to 10 atmospheres of pressure with a titanium case, blue dial and matching cordura strap, personalised. The watch is fitted with a quartz chronograph movement with hour, minute, chronograph seconds display at the centre, continuous seconds at six o'clock, chronograph hours at nine o'clock and minute counter at twelve o'clock.
