The award ceremony for the thirteenth edition of the Gaïa Prize, established to recognise creativity and research in the field of watchmaking, will take place on 20 September in the halls of the Musée International d'Horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
For the Craftsman Creator category, this year the jury unanimously chose the master Paul Gerbera member of the AHCI (Academie Horlogère des Créateurs Independents), to whom we owe prestigious and sophisticated complicated watches.
Aspiring candidates for the next edition, which will take place on 19 March 2009, can send their research proposals, accompanied by a dossier of documentation, to the Musée International d'Horlogerie, Case postale 952, 2301 La Chaux-de-Fonds, by the beginning of December 2008.
