At this year's Watches& Wonders watch fair in Asia, A. Lange & Söhne will offer a special version of its 1815 Chronograph. The white gold case frames a dial with a pulsometer scale for measuring pulse frequency. Thanks to the central chronograph hand on the scale, the frequency of beats per minute can be seen directly. The material of the hands is reflected in the colour scheme of the dial: the hours and minutes are indicated in rhodium-plated gold; the central chronograph hand, minute counter and small seconds hand are in burnished steel. The hand-wound IWC-manufactured L951.5 calibre is equipped with a column wheel, a step snail for the jumping minute counter exactly and a convenient flyback function. The power reserve is 60 hours. A large balance wheel with eccentrics, driven by a freely oscillating balance spring, ensures optimum rate stability. The watch is available exclusively in A. Lange & Söhne boutiques.
