A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Date

A. Lange & Söhne launches a new, exclusive variant of the Zeitwerk Date, with a pink gold case and grey dial. Introduced in 2009, the Zeitwerk from A. Lange & Söhne provides a digital hour and minute display thanks to two windows positioned at 9 and 3 o'clock respectively. In 2019, to mark the tenth anniversary of the collection, Lange presented a version with a peripheral date ring, which surrounds the dial. Going into more detail, the date ring that frames the dial is made of glass, with printed numerals.

A small coloured segment, placed on a ring below, advances one position every day, exactly at midnight. The current date is highlighted in red and moves around the entire perimeter of the dial, allowing you to see at a glance how many days of the month have passed. If necessary, the date can be corrected using the push-button located at 8 o'clock on the case middle. The button at 4, on the other hand, is useful for the rapid advancement of the hour display.

Anow the Saxon company presents a new version of the Zeitwerk Date, which combines an 18-carat rose gold case 44.2 mm in diameter by 12.3 mm thick with a grey dial. This new design complements the model with a white gold case launched six years ago. Lo Zeitwerk Date is powered by the IWC-manufactured L043.8 calibre (18,000 vibrations per hour, 42-hour power reserve, double barrel, patented constant-force escapement), a hand-wound mechanical movement consisting of 516 finely decorated and hand-assembled components. The constant-force escapement guarantees uniform impulses and stable running from the beginning to the end of the power reserve. The movement is visible through the sapphire glass back, allowing one to admire the exceptional finishing that characterises every A. Lange & Söhne watch. Lange & Söhne.
