Adrien Nebel is the winner of the first Versace Watch Talent

The awards ceremony for the first Versace Watch Talent was held yesterday at Palazzo Versace in Milan: the competition, organised in collaboration with L'Ecole d'Arts Appliques of La Chaux-de-Fonds, involved 12 selected students from the renowned university, who were called upon to fully realise the new Versace women's watch. The winner, proclaimed by the jury chaired by Donatella Versace and with the participation of Franca Sozzani, was Adrien Nebel, a young 22-year-old student from Geneva, who won with his "Crepuscolo degli dei" (Twilight of the Gods) project, selected for its innovative ability to interpret the Versace style in the watch/jewellery combination. In addition to the jury's award, the first place winner receives a cash prize and the opportunity to attend a 3-month internship at the Timex Group's Design Lab in Milan. "This watch captures the essence of Versace and reinterprets it in a modern and contemporary way. I am thrilled with the quality of all the Versace Watch Talent projects and to experience first-hand how valuable the creativity of young students is for the future of watchmaking. I am delighted that Versace is an interpreter of this new generation of master watchmakers," said Donatella Versace.
