It is called mytime, the new Morellato watch created in collaboration with architect Gaetano Pesce and previewed on Tuesday 22 March, in Padua, at the vernissage of the anthological exhibition "Il tempo Multidisciplinare" (Multidisciplinary Time) by Pesce himself. The combination of his creative flair and the innovative entrepreneurial vision of Massimo Carraro, president of Morellato, gave rise to the idea of recounting, through a real and tangible object such as a watch, Gaetano Pesce's unprecedented conception of time, which he says "Time is personal, that which when it is lost is never found again". The watch, in a limited edition of 100 numbered pieces, has a central body, a round case, smooth to the touch, which is joined by three different cases representing the head of a man, a woman and a child. Each element goes to make up and give life to the mytime watch, made with movements developed by Morellato. By entering the date of birth or any other important life event, the central dial shows the time elapsed since the chosen date, up to a maximum of 90 years, which is indicated by a digital hand. The man's and woman's heads, which form digital cases, display the current day and month, thus functioning as a calendar. In contrast, the analogue time display is enclosed in the smaller case, which takes the form of a child's head and represents the theme of the future. The case back, personalised with Gaetano Pesce's signature, the title of the work and the brand's logo, bears the numbering of each piece from 1 to 100. Gaetano Pesce's creativity and art can also be found on the strap, lit up by colours dear to the artist such as red, yellow, green and blue, which draw the word time in pop style. The architect's signature is also present on the inside of the strap. The exhibition 'Il Tempo Multidisciplinare' will be open to the public until 23 September 2018 at the Palazzo della Ragione in Padua.
