The One' auction: third edition

The third edition of the auction 'The One, for passionate only' is declined under the term 'Reflections', and offers many interesting and exclusive timepieces.

When Jacopo Spangaro, founder of Spangaro & Co Casa d'Aste, imagined the new edition of The One, he thought of water. To its surface that, whether smooth or rippled, always hides something and, if one is lucky, a submerged treasure. The Isle of Roses is the perfect place to tell this story. An island that didn't exist, born from waste land in 1870, became a sanatorium, then forgotten, finally transformed into paradise. Exactly like certain clocks: hidden, undervalued, then rediscovered by the passion of those who know how to look beyond.

Lot No. 49: Piaget, solotempo watch, quartz movement, 18-carat yellow gold case with integrated bracelet and 18-carat yellow gold dial, Ref. 7141 C S, auction reserve price €5,500.

The One Riflessi catalogue features timepieces that all conceal something mysterious. Dials that change colour with the light, veined by time, in semi-precious stones that seem to enclose miniature seas or conceal revolutionary movements.

Lot No. 155: Vacheron Constantin Métiers d'Art Tribute to Great Explorers,
18K pink gold self-winding retrograde watch with cloisonné dial, Ref. 47070, auction reserve 42,000 euros.

With the first edition of The One, Spangaro & Co. Auction House asked itself: why limit yourself to the adrenaline rush of the bidding contest when you can share the moment, the feelings that animate the search for the unique, desirable creation to make your own? The secret of The One is precisely to combine passion with passion. In this context, dinner with Fabio Trabocchi at his Michelin-starred restaurant, with produce from the island's vegetable garden, is part of the journey.

Lot No. 16: Breguet Classique, 18-carat white gold self-winding watch with guilloché dial, moon phase, day and date, Ref. 337, auction starting bid of €17,000.

Those who are lucky enough to attend The One live experience a complete experience: the thrill of discovering a rare watch and the pleasure of savour once upon a time, with people who cultivate the same joie de vivre. The watches to be auctioned, like water, reflect the beholder. But in their reflections one can also discern the love and knowledge that guided those who selected them.
