In these days, the first previews of the new models starring at the next edition of SIHH are arriving: among them also the new Audemars Piguetthe Millenary Minute Repeater. The watch features an oval case in brushed titanium surrounding an anthracite-coloured gold dial with off-centre hour and minute indications at 3 o'clock and small seconds counter at 7 o'clock. The movement is the new hand-wound IWC-manufactured 2910 calibre with AP escapement, which is distinguished by an unusual construction of the regulating organ: the latter, in fact, consists of two balance-springs placed one on top of the other in a 180-degree inverted position, instead of a single balance-spring. The strap is in black crocodile leather with large square scales, hand-stitched and closed by a titanium folding clasp personalised by Audemars Piguet.
