Bell & Ross: form and function

The new BR03-92 Horograph and BR03-92 Horolum, which will be officially unveiled at Baselworld 2017, expand the family of instrument watches from Bell & Ross. Aesthetically, these watches are characterised by their Bauhaus-inspired minimalist style and have been designed following the principles of industrial aesthetics. Their simple lines, based on a square case, emphasise the essential. Both evoke the world of aviation. The BR03-92 Horograph is reminiscent of the watches in the airport terminal, with its simple, uncluttered dial with clear indications. The BR03-92 Horolum, on the other hand, reproduces the runway lighting codes used to guide pilots night and day. Their name is made up of the common root 'Horo', from the Latin 'Hora' (hour), followed by 'Graph' or 'Lum', from the Latin 'lumen' (light).
