Breitling at the Genoa Boat Show

Breitling was a partner of the 59th Genoa International Boat Show as official timekeeper with an exhibition stand and the sponsorship of the Breitling Theatre, a space where, for all the days of the event, events were held to entertain guests and exhibitors at the Show with concerts and award ceremonies for industry professionals. An event where the brand wanted to celebrate its link with the world of water, which dates back to 1957, by presenting its new Superocean. Like the Héritage Outerknow chronograph, which celebrates the partnership with the sustainable clothing company co-founded by American surfer Kelly Slater and Breitling's involvement in environmental protection initiatives. The watch introduces a first for the brand: a strap made of Econyl, a material created from discarded nylon from oceans around the world. Even the box containing the watch is made from recycled materials. At the heart of the new model is the Breitling calibre 13, a mechanical self-winding movement housed inside a 44-millimetre diameter black steel case with Dlc coating.
