Breitling Navitimer GMT Aurora Blue

The Navitimer GMT, the aviator watch par excellence, could not fail to dress itself in the colour of the sky, namely blue. And indeed, Breitling is proposing a limited series of 1,000 pieces characterised precisely by the blue colouring of the dial, highlighted by a delicate sunburst decoration and tone-on-tone counters. A style that is at once technical, elegant and timeless. The IWC-manufactured B04 calibre, housed in the oversized steel case (the diameter is in fact an impressive 48 mm), is an automatic chronograph movement with excellent performance, combined with an extremely functional dual time-zone system. In fact, to set the main hour hand to local time, all one has to do is pull out the crown and turn it in one direction or the other in one-hour increments, without losing minute accuracy, and automatically adjusting the date forwards or backwards. Meanwhile, the red-tipped hand keeps 24-hour home time, which makes it possible to distinguish day from night. The transparent sapphire back allows one to admire the movement, chronometer-certified by the COSC, a guarantee of extreme precision and reliability. Another original feature of the Navitimer GMT Aurora Blue is the rubber strap with the profile of aircraft tyres and the colour matching the dial. Alternatively, a leather, crocodile or steel bracelet is available.
