Breitling is launching the Premier Bentley Mulliner Limited Edition, a watch celebrating 17 years of collaboration with the famous carmaker and, in particular, with the Bentley Mulliner workshop, which has been making its most exclusive bespoke models since 1959. In fact, the new chronograph offers references to the interior of the Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Convertible, the most prestigious GT ever designed and, above all, to the Breitling timepiece on the dashboard of the luxury car. Limited to 1,000 pieces, it features a 42-millimetre steel case with a blue crocodile leather strap, reminiscent of the car's Imperial Blue leather interior. The silver dial is a reminder of the car's timepiece: it has blue subdials, a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock and a small seconds counter at 9 o'clock, an indication that underscores the presence of the Breitling-manufactured Calibre 01, which has a power reserve of around 70 hours. The dial features a white tachymeter scale set on a blue inner bezel, with the Tachymeter inscription in red. The link between the timepiece and the ship's clock is further emphasised by the complementary Arabic numeral indications: the former displays them at 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11, while the latter for 12, 3, 6 and 9. The red-centred seconds hand and 60-minute scale echo the red stitching that characterises the GT's interior. The left side of the case bears a plaque engraved with the words Bentley, inspired by the dashboard displaying the engine revolutions typical of historic Bentleys. The sapphire-glass back is framed by the inscription Mulliner Edition - Breitling - One of 1000. The watch is Cosc-certified.
