In April of this year, during the brand's first Wbcast Summit, Breitling presented the Superocean Heritage '57 Limited Edition. The public greatly appreciated the design elements of this new watch, elements inspired by the rainbow as a symbol of hope and optimism, and the extremely positive response led Breitling to launch a second edition, this time with a blue dial, limited to 1000 pieces. Part of the proceeds from the watch will be donated to charities supporting health workers on the front line in the fight against Covid-19 in some of the most affected countries, such as France, Italy, Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. Breitling will also donate an additional 1,000 Swiss francs to these organisations for each of the first 100 Superocean Heritage '57 Limited Edition II watches sold through the website www.breitling.com. In total, Breitling will donate 500,000 Swiss francs. The watch has a 42 mm steel case, is water-resistant to 10 atmospheres and uses Breitling Calibre 10, a self-winding mechanical movement with a 42-hour power reserve and chronometer-certified by the COSC. The dial, protected by a sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment, houses coloured and luminescent SuperLumiNova hands and hourmarkers. The unidirectional rotating bezel has a ceramic insert, in blue like the dial.
