Bulgari at LVMH Watch Week 2022

Bulgari associates a new mechanical calibre with an icon in the field of jewellery watches: we are talking about the Serpenti Misteriosi collection, within which the House presents four extremely precious timepieces, all animated by the new BVL 100 Piccolissimo hand-wound mechanical movement, one of the smallest in the world, entirely designed and produced in the Le Sentier manufacture. In particular, the new calibre, with a diameter of just 12.30 mm and a thickness of only 2.50, is housed in the reptile's head inside a special casing. Thanks in part to the savoir-faire acquired in the Finissimo models, Bulgari has created a very compact calibre, comprising 102 components and whose barrel measures a mere 5 mm in diameter by 1.47 in thickness; the power reserve is 30 hours. By pressing the serpent's tongue, Serpenti Misteriosi opens wide to reveal the watch hidden inside. True goldsmith masterpieces, these timepieces are composed of many small parts made individually before being decorated, set with precious stones and finally assembled. As mentioned, there are four new versions, all made of gold and enriched by the presence of precious stones such as diamonds, emeralds and rubellites. Next to Serpenti Misteriosi is the new Octo Roma Carillon Tourbillon Blue Edition, made in only 30 pieces and combining two complications typical of haute horlogerie such as the tourbillon and the minute repeater. The 44 mm platinum case with titanium caseband is designed to amplify the performance and clarity of the sound, a fundamental parameter in the construction of a watch with a striking mechanism. The hand-wound movement, calibre BVL428 (21,600 vibrations per hour, 36 jewels, 75-hour power reserve), is manufactured in-house and measures 35 mm in diameter by 8.35 mm in thickness, with a total of 432 components. Will it become the new object of desire?
