We were there on 23 October at the opening of the new shop Bulgari in Via dei Condotti, Rome, exclusively dedicated to accessories, the third in Italy after those in Milan and Florence. The evening was attended by numerous celebrities from the Roman worlds of culture, show business, art and entrepreneurship, who allowed themselves to be immortalised by the shots of the avid photographers, who flocked to the venue for the occasion.
Located at number 62 of the historic street in the heart of the capital, inside Palazzo Caffarelli, the shop occupies a surface area of over 400 square metres, developed on a single floor and furnished in the unmistakable style of the brand's sales outlets, with the presence of Trani stone flooring, characterised by an unusual two-tone colour scheme and interspersed with wooden surfaces. As many as twenty-one shop windows, five of which look directly onto Via dei Condotti and the rest onto the large internal courtyard, where excellent cocktails were served to the guests present for the occasion. The area dedicated to the most precious handbags and evening bags is located immediately after the entrance, after which it is the turn of the two rooms reserved respectively for women's glasses and day bags. And finally, the four adjoining areas at the back of the shop are dedicated to the unisex travel and work collections, men's glasses, ties, silk and cashmere accessories, gifts and small leather goods.
The particularly successful evening ended with an excellent dinner held in one of the luxurious halls of Palazzo Doria Pamphilj, at the invitation of Francesco Trapani, CEO of the Bulgari Group.
