Bulova - The Accutron II Collection

Bulova has just launched the new Bulova Accutron II collection, which revives the brand's "cult" models and gives them a contemporary twist. It is a wide range of new quartz watches with a retro flavour that wink at the past with a modern twist and are able to offer absolute precision with a deviation of a few seconds per year. The Bulova Accutron II range is extensive and includes the Alpha, Snorkel, Telluride, Moonview and Surveyor lines. The Alpha features an exposed dial, green anodised aluminium dial ring, high luminescence tuning fork, hour markers and dot sphere, recessed crown and black leather strap. The design of the Snorkel is inspired by the bright colours of the waterproof watches of the 1960s. It features a rotating elapsed time indicator, off-centre crown, high luminescence dial inserts, screw-down case back, screw-down crown, and is water-resistant to 200 metres. The Telluride line, on the other hand, is characterised by the harmonious curvature of the lugs for a timeless classic style; an identifying detail of this model is the unmistakable calendar window. Moonview is inspired by a line launched in the 1960s to celebrate Bulova's contribution to the American space programme. Surveyor is a reworking of the classic Accutron design, minimal, bold and with harmonious shapes.
