A new high-frequency movement beating at 57,600 vibrations per hour enlarges the family of Chopard L.U.C calibres. The frequency of the automatic L.U.C 01.06 calibre (which has also been certified by the COSC) thus stands at 8 Hz, as opposed to the 4 Hz of normal mechanical movements, improving reliability and precision. In addition, this escapement in which some of the components are made of silicon) is compatible with other L.U.C movements previously developed by the brand. The new L.U.C 8HF comes in a titanium case with a matt black one-piece case back, which integrates the lugs and is fitted with a sapphire crystal porthole, a window showing the operation of the escapement. The silver-toned grené dial features a small seconds counter in black with red hour markers and hand at 7 o'clock. Price: 14,840 euros.
