Entirely visible through 360°, suspended and fixed to the centre of the case only by a plate and sapphire bridges as if in weightlessness, the Corum CO100 manufacture calibre is the real star of the new Golden Bridge Tourbillon Panoramique. Finely skeletonised, translucent, it is equipped with a flying tourbillon: without an upper bridge, it gives the impression of floating above the movement. Finely skeletonised, the components of the new manufacture baguette movement seem to articulate themselves by virtue of their sheer will to present an unparalleled spectacle. Suspended inside a newly designed tonneau-case with a flying tourbillon that further accentuates the weightlessness effect, the CO100 calibre has a sapphire plate and bridges, while the transparent, hand-polished skeleton offers a 360° view. Having become an emblem of the Corum style and its "Corum Bridges" collection, the baguette movement is an example of horological mastery. With its frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) and its 90-hour power reserve, the CO100 calibre is equipped with a very special tourbillon: a majestic mechanism invented in 1801 to compensate for the negative effects of the earth's gravity on the regulating organ, it remains one of the most difficult haute horlogerie complications to make. The screws are fixed directly onto the different sapphire parts, which are in turn polished by hand - a complex job due to the delicacy of sapphire - for a perfect fit. The whole takes its place inside the tonneau-shaped case, typical of the Corum Bridges collection. Water-resistant to 30 metres, the new Golden Bridge Tourbillon Panoramique is offered in three versions, limited by their very nature: an 18K pink gold case, created in 10 pieces; an 18K pink gold case set with baguettes, in 5 pieces; and an 18K pink gold case set with round diamonds, again limited to 5 pieces. All versions are accompanied by two crocodile straps: one black and the other brown, both hand-stitched, and fitted with an 18K pink gold triple folding clasp engraved with the Corum logo.
