The Konstantin Chaykin Manufacture celebrated its tenth anniversary on 23 October. In fact, exactly ten years ago, founder Konstantin Chaykin started work on his first complicated mechanical watch. Over the next ten years, Chaykin dedicated his life to the development of fine watches in Russia. Today, the Konstantin Chaykin Manufacture is the only Russian brand that produces watches for the world market. Every detail and component of Konstantin Chaykin's watches is meticulously designed and subjected to hours of testing and machining, and finally assembled in sterile environments to prevent dust from infiltrating the movement. Today, Konstantin Chaykin is known as one of the world's most innovative independent watchmakers. Every year, the Manufacture applies for patents for numerous watchmaking inventions, and at the same time presents at least two new models per year that benefit from these same inventions. It all started ten years ago with a model equipped with a tourbillon device, which adopted a titanium cage. One of the latest innovations, however, is the Cinema Watch, which contains the first mechanical animation ever incorporated in a watch.
