Dedicated to Elvis

Ventura Quartz
Ventura Quartz

On 8 January 1935, the greatest international music legend was born: Elvis Presley. Today, seventy-five years later, the Hamilton dedicates two exclusive Ventura models to him, the distinctive shield-shaped timepiece worn by the 'King of Rock' in the 1961 film 'Blue Hawaii'. The one we are presenting here is the quartz version, a faithful tribute to the original 1957 model, revisited with a polished steel case or one with a yellow gold finish and PVD treatment that encloses a black dial and hour markers ending in a raised rounded tip. The watch is available with either a metal bracelet or a two-tone black and gold or silver and black leather strap, but the story of the strap is one to be told: the timepiece, originally purchased by Elvis, is said to have had a leather strap which, according to archive material, was replaced with a metal bracelet at the explicit request of the customer.
