During Delma explorer and ambassador Nick Moloney's mission to Antarctica in February this year, to celebrate 200 years since the discovery of the 'ice continent', there was an Oceanmaster Antarctica. The Swiss watchmaker will also donate part of the proceeds from the sale of the Oceanmaster Antarctica to the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition (ASOC), an organisation that aims to protect the Antarctic ecosystem. The Oceanmaster Antarctica, produced in a limited edition of 200 pieces, uses a 44 mm polished/satin-finished steel case, equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel with compass degrees and a helium valve. Water-resistant to 500 metres, the watch is powered by the automatic ETA 2824 calibre (25 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 38-hour power reserve), with a personalised rotor.
