Eberhard & Co. is confirmed as Main Sponsor and Official Timekeeper of the event. The 2021 edition will feature around one hundred crews from Italy and other European countries and will be reserved for cars built before 1968, to which will be added a selection of models of particular historical and collectors' interest produced up to 1976. The programme of the 3-day Winter Marathon 2021 includes a route of over 500 km, longer than the previous editions, with 11 Dolomite passes to be tackled, 65 time trials and 6 average trials, all developed in 2 stages: the first at night on Thursday 14 January with departure from the centre of Campiglio, and the second (more demanding) on Friday 15, with departure in the morning from the village and arrival in the middle of the night in the central Piazza Righi, crossing Val Rendena, Pinzolo, Val di Fassa, Canazei, passing the Pordoi and Sella Passes, and then returning towards Folgarida after passing through Ortisei and the central Piazza Walther in Bolzano. Eberhard & Co. will be kicking off the eagerly awaited Trophy on the frozen lake in Madonna di Campiglio on Saturday 16 January. The knockout challenge will be dedicated to the first 32 classified crews, who have excelled during the previous two days between sharp bends and snow-covered passes. Timepieces from the main Eberhard & Co. collections will be awarded as prizes, both to the winning crew of the Eberhard Trophy and to the winners of the overall classification.
