Eberhard & Co - Contograf Special Edition

blog

The Contograf collection is enriched with a camouflage version, with a strong aesthetic impact, for wrists that love a bold look with a military flair. Presented last year, the Contograf chronograph is a re-edition of a 1960s model that has become an emblem of its era thanks to its resolutely innovative features. It retains most of the design features of the vintage model, but revisited in a contemporary key and supplemented with innovative details such as the unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel, bracelet and strap. The Contograf Special Edition retains the technical features of the classic Contograf, but evolves in appearance by adding a striking fashion element that strongly connotes its look. One of the most appreciated and sought-after evergreen trends, always a source of inspiration for stylists and designers, camouflage has, over time, transformed its perception by abandoning the aggressive verve of its origins and marrying a chic and trendy style, becoming a true must-have in the field of clothing and accessories. The watch is equipped with two counters and a trapezoid-shaped date display at 6 o'clock with a quick release. The unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel comes in two versions, green or black, and frames the tachymeter scale. The case back is screwed down and is personalised with the "Special Edition" engraving. This new Contograf comes with either a green leather strap or a military green reps canvas strap, which provides an ideal match for the green bezel, or a Chassis metal bracelet that enhances the black bezel instead. Fitted with a sapphire crystal protecting the dial, the Contograf Special Edition from Eberhard & Co is powered by a mechanical movement with automatic winding, calibre 8147, on an ETA/Valjoux 7750 base.
