For the fifth consecutive year, Eberhard & Co. confirms its participation as Partner and Official Timekeeper in the Raid dell'Etna, an event of international appeal reserved for a select number of classic cars built up to 1969. The Swiss company will set the pace of the competition and be the protagonist of the eagerly awaited "Coppa delle Dame Eberhard & Co." in Catania and the "Eberhard & Co. Trophy". Some models from the Eberhard & Co. collections will be presented as prizes both to the winners of the ladies-only event and to the overall winning crew of the race. Eberhard & Co. has forged a strong link with the fascinating world of speed and classic cars, which sees the brand at the forefront as Official Timekeeper of the most prestigious national and international races. From 20 to 26 September, about 60 crews from all over the world will compete in 60 timed tests, through an itinerary of over 1,000 km along the coasts and hinterland of Sicily, from Palermo to Calascibetta, a medieval village of exceptional charm, passing through Siracusa, Avola, Punta Secca, where an aperitif is planned in the famous house in which the Commissario Montalbano series is set. Despite the delicate historical moment, entrants also come from countries such as Brazil, Germany, Austria, the USA and Colombia, and prestigious cars, such as a 1936 Bentley 4 ¼ Le Mans, will be competing. Participants will have the opportunity to visit some of the island's most beautiful locations, discovering new and fascinating places, and to spend a day of conviviality, competitiveness and culture.
