Emporio Armani and Shawn Mendes: launching the first touchscreen smartwatch collection

EMPORIO ARMANI SHAWN MENDES COME TOGETHER TO LAUNCH THE FIRST TOUCHSCREEN SMARTWATCH COLLECTION (2)New collaboration between Giorgio Armani and young singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes, for the launch of the first collection of touchscreen smartwatches and new smartwatch hybrid models for the Emporio Armani Connected line. Shawn Mendes, just 18 years old, was named by Time Magazine as one of the "most influential teenagers" of 2014, 2015, 2016 and, also in 2016, Forbes included him in its "30 under 30" list.
The new collection includes touchscreen and hybrid smartwatches, compatible with both iOS® and AndroidTM phones, running Android WearTM 2.0, Google's smartwatch platform and the Qualcomm® Snapdragon WearTM 2100 smartwatch platform. Users are always up-to-date by viewing messages and notifications directly on the watch, with customisable displays and interchangeable straps for a perfect match to the desired look.

There is a choice of eight displays and colour combinations and, thanks to the Saved Faces micro app, you can store your favourite customised displays for your own look.
Activity monitoring: connect to your favourite apps with pedometer, running and fitness goals. Customisation of straps with eleven different options, including stainless steel, leather and silicone, easily interchangeable with quick-release system.

Play Music: the digital music collection can be accessed wherever you are.

The campaign was launched on 17 June in Milan as part of Milan Fashion Week and in conjunction with the Emporio Armani Uomo fashion show. Toronto, the singer's hometown, provided the backdrop for images shot by photographer Sabine Villiard and videos directed by director Alex Courtès.
The new smartwatch collection will be available from 14 September on armani.com, as well as at selected Emporio Armani shops and department stores worldwide.
