F.P. Journe in support of medical research

The proceeds from the auction of the Centigraphe Souverain, a unique piece made by the F.P. Journe manufacture, were entirely donated to the ICM, the International Institute for Research on Brain and Spinal Cord Diseases based in Paris. Beaten for €120,000, the watch has a platinum case and a blue mother-of-pearl dial. "I am proud to support ICM and medical research since 2004 to find treatments for diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's or multiple sclerosis," said François-Paul Journe, founder of the Maison. "Each of us has family members with these diseases and our only desire is to find a cure to cure them." The event was held during a gala evening at the Conciergerie in Paris, in the presence of numerous guests.
