Great success for the evening event organised by the Italian branch of Festina Group on 27 May at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago, just outside Milan. The special guest was Marc Marquez, Lotus testimonial, who made his entrance into the hall introduced by the sound of the commentary that replayed at great volume the roars of the engine and the emotion of his coronation last year as World Champion. The evening opened with the official announcement by Carlos Otero and Ignazio De Lucia (CEO and Commercial Director of the Group's Italian Subsidiary) of the launch of the Limited Edition of the Marc Marquez collection by Lotus, a men's chronograph produced in 2013 pieces, a run that even in the number - the year of his debut and victory in Moto GP - pays homage to the career of the Spanish champion. The company presented Marquez with the watch bearing the serial number 93/2013: 93 being his year of birth and his race number. During his opening speech, the young rider also previewed the news of the renewal of the collaboration with the watch and jewellery brand until 2016. In the exclusive Sky Lounge, set up with ad hoc display windows, guests were welcomed with a welcome cocktail and entertained until the end of the evening with a DJ set of music selected for the occasion.
