The new Vintage Rally Healey Automatic is the result of a collaboration between the Frederique Constant manufacture and the Austin-Healey automotive brand. An agreement born in 2004 and never interrupted: 17 years of loyalty and friendship between watchmaking and mechanics punctuated by rallies, rallies, races and a shared passion for retro design. The last version of the Vintage Rally Healey Automatic dates back to 2018. Today, the collection is back in the spotlight with two new three-hand models with date. Elegant and timeless, the first model sports a 40 mm pink gold-plated case, as well as luminescent-treated hourmarkers and hands. The flange houses the minute scale on a chocolate-coloured background, which matches the perforated calfskin strap. The second version uses a historical colour for the Healey brand, dark green, on the dial. This is one of the most iconic colours of rally cars; moreover, this 'English green' has long been a characteristic feature of vintage Austin Healey watches, which are now particularly sought after by collectors. Both models are powered by the FC-303 automatic calibre, with a date display at 3 o'clock and a 38-hour power reserve. Engraved on the caseback is the famous Healey 100S, registered NOJ393, purchased in 1969 by a collector for £155 and resold for almost €1 million in December 2011. Just below, here is the individual number of each example in the series, strictly limited to 2,888 examples, each presented in a collector's box containing a miniature replica of NOJ393.
