Garmin unveils its new Approach S62 golf watch, the latest addition to its popular line of wearable GPSs for green enthusiasts, and destined to become every golfer's must-have companion. Elegantly styled and with smart features that make it perfect for everyday use away from the course, the Approach S62 includes innovative functions that will enhance the quality of your game by providing useful tips on shot type, choice of irons, green features and more. Like a real "caddy", it will follow the golfer step by step, for an even better playing experience. Garmin's Approach S62 Golf Watch features a 1.3-inch colour touchscreen display, perfectly readable in direct sunlight (17% larger than previous Approach models) and a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel. Details that make this smartwatch an accessory with which to accompany your look even outside the clubhouse. The Garmin Approach S62 is also equipped with a series of functions designed to improve the user's game, such as the PlaysLike Distance options, which takes into account the change in elevation between the player and the target, calculating the distance to be covered with the shot, and Hazard View, which shows in a quick overview of the hole the obstacles present, and the introduction of a virtual caddy to help in choosing the best club or iron to play taking into account critical factors such as the layout of the fairway and the slopes of the terrain. When, on the other hand, the golfer is forced to play a blind shot, the PinPointer function shows the exact direction of the flag behind the obstacle hiding it. In addition, with Green View every player, no matter where they are on the course, can have a real view of the green to play on. Finally, the Autoshot feature analyses the swing dynamics and measures the effectiveness in terms of distance achieved by each shot, providing useful post-game analysis. With the Approach S62, once paired with the Garmin Golf app, you can find out even more information about your game: each statistic is synchronised and brought to the app, where it is calculated and processed. The monitoring results, studied by the performance widget, are then forwarded from the app directly to the Approach S62 so that the user has all the necessary information on his wrist, such as the handicap index and fairway layout. Finally, through the Garmin Golf app, users will be able to monitor the progress of their shots and participate in virtual tournaments with other players around the world. The new Approach S62 offers a comprehensive set of features that extend beyond the boundaries of the golf course. Heart rate monitoring directly on the wrist during sporting activity, a Pulse Ox3 sensor to detect the degree of oxygenation of the blood and an analysis of general health levels help to provide a picture of the user's physiological well-being; while Smart Notification management and the ability to make fast and secure contactless payments via the Garmin Pay™ function make Garmin's new golf smartwatch the ideal companion for everyday life.
