In fact, as its very name reveals, the quatix 6X Solar includes an exclusive solar recharge function that adds to all the well-known features of the quatix 6 series, in this case housed in a 51 mm case made of grade 2 titanium. The watch's autonomy, in smartwatch mode, allows for up to 21 days' use, which can be extended to an additional 24 hours per week thanks to solar recharging. The watch is paired with a grade 2 titanium bracelet and comes with a spare silicone strap, equipped with a QuickFit system for quick and easy replacement. In terms of dedicated sailing functions, the new Garmin sportwatch connects wirelessly to compatible multifunction chartplotters to monitor numerous on-board sensors on the boat directly on the watch and, via the GNT 10 transceiver, connects to all NMEA 2000 networks.
