Girard-Perregaux - Previews from SIHH

Girard-Perregaux 1966 Piccoli Secondi
Girard-Perregaux 1966 Small Seconds

Let's start with a little preview of SIHH 2011. Opening the dances is the brand Girard-Perregaux. The first novelty concerns the 1966 collection, a classic of the House, which has been enriched with a Small Seconds model, with a 40 millimetre round case in white or pink gold and an elegant grand feu enamel dial. The movement adopted (the 3300-50 calibre) is a new evolution of the automatic 3300 calibre (28,800 vib/h, 46-hour power reserve), visible through the sapphire crystal back.

The women's novelty is part of the Cat's Eye collection and also features the small seconds function, which stands out at 9 o'clock on a sophisticated white or black mother-of-pearl dial. The typical oval case is in pink or white gold with 62 diamonds set on the bezel (diamonds also shine in place of the hour markers. The movement is the automatic GP03300-0044 calibre.
