Girard-Perregaux - 1957

To mark its 225th anniversary, Girard-Perregaux presents the 1957, a watch inspired by the aesthetic codes of the Gyromatic of the 1960s. As in 1957, its crystal glass, champagne-coloured dial with retro effect, Dauphine hands with luminescent material and applied hour-markers recall the heritage of Girard-Perregaux. The case is in steel and measures 40 millimetres in diameter; the visible case back reveals the GP03300 manufacture mechanical self-winding movement, decorated with côtes de Genève and circular graining on the plate and oscillating weight and with a 46-hour power reserve. It comes with a black alligator strap. In a limited edition of 225 pieces, it is on sale for €10,700.
