Glashütte Original at the Berlinale 2016

Glashuette Original Sponsors Cocktail For the sixth consecutive year, Glashütte Original is a partner of the Berlin International Film Festival in Berlin from 11 to 21 February. On the day after the opening, the House will award the Made in Germany - Perspektive Fellowship, a prize reserved for a young and up-and-coming German filmmaker, who will allocate the €15,000 received for the occasion to support the development of a film and the necessary script materials. As in previous editions of the Berlinale, a jury will be entrusted with the task of deciding the winner: the 2016 jury is composed of actress Sandra Hüller, screenwriter, director and actor Ingo Haeb and producer Martin Heisler. And, as every year, the trophy presented to the winner is carefully handmade by the students of the Alfred Helwig Watchmaking School, run by Glashütte Original. During the current edition of the Berlinale, the Golden Bear Award will also be presented to director Michael Ballhaus for outstanding creative achievements during his illustrious career.
