The 2015 summer season of Antica Orologeria Candido Operti was full of events. The company organised the traditional series of exhibitions dedicated to the most prestigious watch and jewellery brands for the guests of its boutique at the Forte Village Resort, in Sardinia. Damiani, Pomellato and Pasquale Bruni enchanted the public in July. Opening the doors on Thursday 16 was Damiani with the Masterpiece Couture event, which offered the public an opportunity to admire some of its most beautiful creations: among them, the Eden collection, characterised by the figure of the snake and inspired, in its design, by the Diamond International Award-winning bracelet of the same name. On 23 July, it was time for Pomellato, whose creations are characterised by sinuous lines: an example is the Tabou line, where the brand develops the theme of burnished silver and marries it to the rounded shapes of these creations, small round and fleshy berries. The events dedicated to jewellery ended on 30 July with the novelties by Pasquale Bruni, first and foremost the precious collection of rings, pendants and earrings Giardini Segreti, with its sinuous leaf motif in gold and pavé diamonds. After a month of July dedicated to jewellery, it was undoubtedly the watch that was the star of the events held in August at the Forte Village Resort, at the Antica Orologeria Candido Operti boutique. The exhibition dedicated to Chopard, which took place on 6 and 7 August, brought to the fore two extraordinary limited edition models: the L.U.C 1963, in platinum, created for the 50th anniversary of the Scheufele family at the helm of Chopard, and the L.U.C Louis-Ulysse - The tribute chronometer, in white gold, which pays tribute to the founder of Chopard. Among the women's proposals, the House presented the watches in the L'Heure du Diamant line, featuring diamond hour markers, a bezel and lugs decorated with diamonds or sapphires and a coloured satin strap. For lovers of sporty watches, on 13 and 14 August, Audemas Piguet presented the new models in the Royal Oak Offshore collection in a women's version, which manage to retain all the vigour and character of the men's originals while having a more essential and sophisticated design. Among the men's proposals, great curiosity and interest was aroused by the Millenary 4101, a watch entirely designed, developed and built in-house and in which the movement was literally "turned upside down" to offer itself to the eye from the front.
