Colin Chapman, founder of Lotus, introduced some of the most important technical and engineering innovations in Formula One. Graham today dedicates to the great Colin Chapman a limited edition model of only 500 pieces, the Silverstone Stowe GMT. The Silverstone Stowe GMT is an imposing 48 mm diameter steel chronograph, which features carbon elements. The sporty 'carbon black' dial is adorned with yellow numeral indices, as are the spheres of the minute and chronograph counters. The watch also displays a double-disc date display and a GMT function, indicated by the central GMT sphere and the green scale on the aluminium and carbon fibre bezel. The Silverstone Stowe GMT is also equipped with a flyback function. The movement used, mechanical with automatic winding, is the G1721 calibre (28 jewels, 28,800 vibrations/hour, Incabloc shock-proof system, 48-hour power reserve), the crystal protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal with double anti-reflection treatment (inside and outside), while the back has a porthole as well as an engraved progressive numbering for the model, which, as mentioned, is produced in a limited edition of just 500 pieces. Very special is the rubber strap, which bears a tread design and has a yellow insert. Graham's Silverstone Stowe GMT is however also available with a steel bracelet.
