Greubel Forsey - Sihh 2014: QP à Équation

A great start to the 24th Sihh. Greubel Forsey presents an inline perpetual calendar with equation of time (on the case back) and Tourbillon 24 seconds. The calendar indications are adjustable through the crown. Need to take an urgent flight and the watch has been stopped for a few days? Simply pull out the crown and check, via the position indicator at 2:30, that you are in the correct position. With a simple forward or backward movement, the indications move on their own without further manipulation. In the event of an error, simply turn the crown in the other direction to return, day by day, to the correct date. The indications are visible through the dial at 3 o'clock (the most visible part of the dial), which shows the three windows arranged in a line that clearly indicate the day, date and month. On the caseback, on the other hand, is the time display, consisting of two superimposed transparent discs: the first sapphire disc relates to the month date display and contains a scale graduated in minutes that determines the amplitude of the difference between solar time and conventional time; the second disc (also in sapphire) relates to the annual display and contains a manta-shaped geometric figure whose lines are divided into four parts, two red and two blue - a device representing the type of time offset. To determine this, one must look at the point where the red (positive phase shift) or blue (negative phase shift) line cuts the scale. At the heart of this 43.5-millimetre white gold case is the calibre GF07 (570 components, 65 jewels, 21,600 vib/h, 72-hour power reserve). A mechanical jewel worth 670,000 euros.
