Gucci and the world of gaming

Gucci presents a new limited edition Gucci Dive timepiece in collaboration with Fnatic, an international eSports brand based in London. Inspired by the Fnatic team from League of Legends, an action video game designed for those who enjoy difficult and satisfying challenges, this timepiece features the emblematic black and orange palette and the Fnatic logo on the caseback, along with the limited edition number (one hundred individually numbered watches available on gucci.com). Prominent on the dial embellished with the historical GG logo - an acronym that in the gaming world means "Good Game" - are the SuperLuminova details on the hour markers and hands. Completing the look is a 40 mm steel case, water-resistant to 20 atmospheres, and a black rubber strap with the Gucci logo embossed on it. The watch is presented in a series of evocative images and a video. The protagonists are the five League of Legends players: Martin Larsson ("Rekkles"), Zdravets Galabov ("Hylissang"), Tim Lipovšek ("Nemesis"), Gabriël Rau ("Bwipo") and Oskar Boderek ("Selfmade"). Accompanied by an original soundtrack, the video shows the team in action in real time in front of an audience, capturing the thrill of eSports in a tribute to team spirit. To celebrate the collaboration, Gucci has developed a new game dedicated to the Dive watch, which will debut in the coming weeks in Gucci Arcade, the vintage game-inspired section of the Gucci app that allows users to have fun with the House's symbols. The game is set in an underwater cave and stars a submarine with the Fnatic logo, with which players will have to collect as many coins as possible while avoiding obstacles.
