The new Hamilton H-20-S skeleton movement is the beating heart of the Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic Skeleton Gents and encapsulates two contrasting styles, inviting the wearer to seek both inner and outer beauty. In particular, Hamilton's H-20-S automatic movement takes up the skeleton theme, where expert craftsmanship merges with precision. Contemporary decoration, recognisable on the skeletonised satin-finished rotors and a complex 'H' motif applied to individual elements, add theatricality to the traditional precision of timekeeping. The wearer participates first-hand in this spectacle where generously sized apertures reveal components such as the escapement, balance spring and barrel as they industriously do their work. On display on both sides of the timepiece are the modern watchmaking techniques used to create the watch's H-20-S motor, which tell the story of aesthetic mechanics at its meeting with strong masculine lines. Angles and curves enrich the anthracite-coloured engravings skilfully filling the dial. In contrast to the artistic tendencies of the skeletonisation, indexes coated with Super-LumiNova have been applied for further technical refinement.
