Hublot, partner of Ferrari since 2011, congratulated Charles Leclerc on his second consecutive victory in the World Championship. After his triumph in Belgium, the young driver from Monaco also won at Monza, in front of thousands of fans. These two consecutive victories come right on the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari, an occasion Hublot wanted to celebrate with three limited-edition chronographs made in collaboration with the Ferrari Design Centre. Each of the three versions of the Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary, this is the name of the watch, houses the Unico movement, a flyback chronograph with a 72-hour power reserve. The bezel is sculpted in carboceramic, the same material used for Formula 1 brake discs. The first version is inspired by the early years of the Scuderia Ferrari and its glorious past. The visible metal parts, the Pecari leather of the wraparound seats and the brushed look of the dashboard are represented by the platinum case and the perforated and stitched strap. The dial is reminiscent of old-fashioned tachometers, with the calendar highlighted in yellow. The 3D carbon used for the case of the second edition reflects the current Scuderia Ferrari. The strap is made of Nomex, the flame-retardant synthetic fibre used for drivers' overalls, with contrasting red and black stitching. Its colour code is black and red, the colours currently used by the Scuderia Ferrari for its Formula 1 cars. The third model, with a Kevlar strap, is immediately recognisable by its transparent case made of sapphire, an innovative and difficult-to-machine material. Each of the three versions of the Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary bears one of the three colours of the Scuderia on its edges, numerals and hands. Yellow for the platinum version, red for the 3D carbon version and black for the sapphire version. All three watches will be produced in a limited edition of 90, and ten "box sets" containing all three will also be available.
