Characterised by an atypical architecture designed like a construction game, a 10-day autonomy and a skeleton design revealing the originality of a rack-and-pinion winding indicator, the new Big Bang Meca-10 Blue Ceramic sanctions the technical and aesthetic audacity of the manufacture. Forged in blue ceramic, the 45 mm case opens onto a blue mechanism and comes with a strap in the same colour. In this model in particular, the case, bezel and folding clasp are made of high-tech ceramic, a zirconium dioxide sintered at high temperatures. Very hard and very solid, but also lighter than steel, the new chronograph resists scratches and ageing perfectly. The mechanism of the new Big Bang Meca-10 Blue Ceramic is as innovative as the materials that compose it. The result of two years of development, the skeleton calibre with a 10-day power reserve consists of 223 parts. An aesthetic and technical distinction, it is equipped with two barrels parallel to the power reserve indicator: a rack-and-pinion system with two toothed rods running on a horizontal axis. Underscoring this meccano-like architecture, a window at 3 o'clock shows a red dot when the movement reaches its last days of power reserve, while a gear wheel positioned at 6 o'clock indicates the exact number and the regulating organ, combined with the small seconds, is visible at 7 o'clock.
