Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the FIFA World Cup, Hublot celebrates football with the message "How to become a champion!", a campaign of images portraying the living legends of the sport and their most significant quotes to inspire you to become a champion. They are the friends and ambassadors of the Swiss brand: Pelé, Maradona, coach José Mourinho, Usain Bolt, international referee Björn Kuipers, footballer Xherdan Shaqiri, football icons David Trezeguet, Marcel Desailly and Aleksej Smertin, the coaches of the national teams participating in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, namely Stanislav Cherchesov (Russia), Gareth Southgate (England), Julen Lopetegui (Spain), Didier Deschamps (France) and Hervé Renard (Morocco). Also included in the portraits are the symbol of this 21st World Cup: the emblematic Matryoshka and the Hublot ball, both created and painted by contemporary Russian artist Andrey Bartenev. For the kick-off of this new campaign, the first to appear are Pelé "To become a champion, respect others and never think you are the best!" and Maradona "To become a champion, you must never give up or stop training. The most important thing: respect your parents, because they are your best advisers'.
