The Longines Prize Lydia Tesio

For the third consecutive year, Longines is the official partner and timekeeper of the Longines Lydia Tesio Prize at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle. This exciting 2,000-metre race is dedicated to the memory of Donna Lydia, the first lady of Italian horse racing, wife of the great thoroughbred breeder Federico Tesio. To pay tribute to women, the Maison also presented the 'Ladies of Horse Racing' prize, intended for the great ladies of the equestrian sports world and awarded yesterday evening at the Ara Pacis Museum, in the heart of Rome. The candidates, chosen from the various sectors of the equestrian world, have as their common denominator that they have distinguished themselves in this universe for their professionalism, their skills, their activity or simply for their love and commitment. During this event, Longines presents a watch that embodies the brand's philosophy and its famous slogan "Elegance is an attitude": Longines DolceVita. The official quartz watch in steel and pink gold is set with 32 diamonds (0.269 carat, Top Wesselton VVS) whose sparkle enhances the rectangular shape of the harmoniously proportioned case. A white dial and a steel and pink gold bracelet complete this contemporary and elegant timepiece.
