Congratulations to the Lorenz On 26 June in Turin, Italy, Lorenz won the Compasso d'Oro ADI award, now in its 26th edition, for its Neos watch designed by the Spanish design group CuldeSac. Lorenz is no stranger to this prestigious award: back in 1960, it won the coveted prize with the Static model, designed by the then very young Richard Sapper for Tullio Bolletta. The Compasso d'Oro ADI is Italy's highest award for innovation in the field of design and industrial production, and Neos is one of the ten elected, out of around four hundred nominees, to have been awarded the prize. Furthermore, this watch joins Static in the Historical Collection of the Compasso d'Oro, which since 2004 has been recognised as a national historic-artistic heritage by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities.
