For the seventh time, IWC is taking the side of those most in need. It does so with a special edition of its Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph. The aim is to provide support for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, an organisation that combines sporting excellence with high-level social commitment to help young people and children from disadvantaged social backgrounds face life with the energy and values of team sports. An automatic chronograph, driven by the IWC-manufactured 89361 calibre, it allows for an additional measurement of up to 12 hours. Thanks to the flyback function, the chronograph hand can be reset to zero and a new measurement started. With a stainless-steel case, a "Laureus blue" dial and a black rubber strap, the watch bears on its back a drawing created by a young man from Sri Lanka, the winner of one of IWC's annual drawing competitions.
