The new Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante Edition "Boutique Milano" (Ref. IW371222) in a steel case and limited to 150 pieces was recently presented in Milan during a cocktail reception hosted by Chef Andrea Berton, IWC's Brand Ambassador. In 2016, on the occasion of the opening of the IWC boutique in Milan, a dedicated watch was presented: the Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante Edition "Boutique Milano" (Ref. IW371215) with a gold case and limited to 100 pieces. This timepiece was a huge success in Italy and was appreciated by the many watch enthusiasts, as it was an iconic Swiss watchmaker's timepiece being reissued after 10 years. In 2019, IWC Schaffhausen has therefore decided to present a new version of this splendid watch: the Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante Edition "Boutique Milano", as mentioned with a steel case and limited to 150 pieces. The precious timepiece can be ordered through the IWC boutiques in Milan and Rome. Andrea Berton, celebrated Michelin-starred chef and IWC Brand Ambassador, personally presented a tasting specially conceived for this cocktail party, consisting of refined and sophisticated finger food that reflected the values of Swiss watchmaking: timeless elegance and innovation. Guests toasted with a careful selection of fine Ferrari Trentodoc bubbles, expertly chosen to enhance the dishes on offer and celebrate this new limited edition. During the week from 5 to 11 April, it will be possible to discover a preview of the secrets of this timepiece and receive a tasty gift signed by Chef Berton.
PORTUGIESER CHRONOGRAPH RATTRAPANTE EDITION 'BOUTIQUE MILANO'
Steel case, 40.9 mm diameter, hand-wound 76240 calibre movement, 44-hour power reserve, individually numbered limited edition (Ref. IW371222). The watch is equipped with the characteristic third pusher for the split-seconds mechanism, blue dial with tachymeter scale and telemetric scale, gold-plated hands and hour markers. This timepiece is completed by a hand-finished black alligator leather strap. Along with the wording of the limited edition "01/150", to further seal the link with Milan, the engraving on the caseback features the Visconti bison, the city's symbol and coat of arms.
