JeanRichard - Terrascope and 1681 Collections

At the press event in Aoyama, Tokyo, JeanRichard launched two new collections, namely Terrascope and 1681. Both collections are inspired by the brand's new identity, based on the motto "A philosophy of life". Both feature a 46 mm case, yet differ in aesthetic taste. The Terrascope collection is a sporty line characterised by elegant details. The more classic 1681 collection, on the other hand, remains faithful to the brand's origins while enhancing its original structure. Both models are powered by JeanRichard manufacture mechanical self-winding clocks. At the event, held at the Royal Café Aoyama in Aoyama, Tokyo, not only the Terrascope and 1681 collections were presented, but also the artistic works of Masakatsu Shimoda, who painted the watchmakers at work in the workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, as well as world-famous urban settings that convey the atmosphere of the thriving world of Swiss watchmaking tradition. The COO of JeanRiuchard, Bruno Grande, presented the new products, explaining that 'A philosophy of life' represents a new beginning for the House. After the presentation, Sowind Japan K.K. President Tomoko Okabe announced a competition entitled "A philosophy of life" introducing the new Terrascope collection.
