In 1930 Morellato opened the first watch repair shop in Bologna, later specialising in the production of leather watch straps. In recent years, watches have also arrived, but this is a story now more than familiar.
This year, therefore, the brand celebrates eighty years in the business by launching the Heritage collection, which includes a men's and a women's model.
The men's Heritage features classic, understated lines, with a round steel case and a blue alligator strap. The movement is ETA-based self-winding mechanical. Price: 790 euros.
The ladies' Heritage has an attractive round case, which then develops into an oval shape thanks to concentric circles embellished with crystals. The case back features mother-of-pearl applications. The strap is black leather. Price: 490 euros.
