Double victory for Hublot on the occasion of the 2008 European Football Championship: the House in fact not only acted as the official watch of the event but also signed a licensing agreement with the Spanish football team, winners of the 2008 European title. For this major success, the watchmaker created the Big Bang 44 millimetres, a chronograph in a limited series of 250 pieces bearing the logo of the Spanish Football Federation engraved on the dial at 9 o'clock. The mechanical watch, made of black ceramic, was donated by Marzio Villa and Pilar Mata, respectively President and CEO of the Diarsa group that distributes Hublot in Spain, to the players of the winning team and their coach Luis Aragonés. The presentation ceremony took place at the hotel hosting the Spanish team, in Neustift, Austria.
